Journey Home from Indy Airport and Denny's

We finally reached Indy Airport around 1:30 am... It has been a really long day but we were glad to be back... We went to the baggage collecting area and waited for our luggage... It quite a while before the luggage from our flight came out... However we did not see any of our bags! A check with the UA counter revealed that our luggage was still at Washington!! Well there was nothing to do except leave our contact details as the guy said our luggage will be delivered to us when they arrive... Luckily we removed our winter jackets from our checked-in luggage at Washington airport before re-checking them else we would definitely freeze...

Waiting for shuttle bus to take us to the parking area...

Our car covered in snow, luckily not a lot as the snow was not that big in Indiana... We were without our GPS as it was in our checked-in luggage but luckily I had written down directions on how to get to the airport from our home and the paper was in the car. Hence we just had to reverse the directions to get home. Wonder what will we do if we did not have that piece of paper...

We were hungry as the last meal we had was 2 plus in the afternoon at Cancun, and thus stopped for food at Denny's in Lafayette... It was close to 4am when we reached there...

We ordered hot teas as it was cold, a great difference in temperature from Mexico... Will need some time to adjust to the cold temperature...

YH had the Lumberjack Slam (Two buttermilk pancakes, a slice of grilled honey ham, two bacon strips, two sausage links and two eggs, plus hash browns or grits and choice of bread). I had the All-American Slam (Three scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese, two bacon strips and two sausage links, plus hash browns or grits and choice of bread). It was our 1st visit to Denny's and the breakfast was rather nice! =)

After our meal, we drove home... We finally reached home slightly after 5am. It has been a really long day and were glad to be home... Took about 20 hrs to reach home from Merida... Yawnz...
