El Rodeo @ West Lafayette

After missing FFF for several weeks, we joined the rest for dinner yesterday night. The place for dinner was at El Rodeo, a Mexican restaurant, which was our 1st visit. The car park for the restaurant was full and we could not find a lot to park but luckily after a few turns, a car left and we took over the spot.

The same as other Mexican restaurants, we were served with a basket of chips at the start...

YH and me took some time deciding what to order as we did not know what we wanted... =p In the end I had Enchiladas Tipicas which comprised of 5 enchiladas (1 each of beef, chicken, shredded beef, cheese and beans) topped with their El Maya sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. Tasted quite nice!! But it was too much for me... =p

YH's order comprised of 3 plates... Hehe... =p He had Chicken Monterrey which is grilled marinated chicken, topped with sautéed onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and bell peppers and covered with a blanket of melted Monterrey Jack cheese. Plus beans and rice. Look really nice and the chicken tasted good too! =)

One plate was something like a salad with lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole and the other was three warm tortillas...
