Clegg Botanical Garden

We went to Clegg Botanical Garden on Sat late afternoon and took a hike along the trails... This is the entrance to the place...

Near the start was this part of ground covered with blue wild flowers...

We started with the Lookout Point Trail and we were at one of the overlooks...

Walking along the trail where there were many bare trees...

At another lookout where we could see the Wildcat Creek river and the houses on the opposite bank...

Walking down towards the river...

At a lookout that is closer to the river...

A rather nice view...

Walking on the Wildcat Creek Trail which is along the river...

These were some protruding rocks and there is even some steps leading into the rocks so you could sort of sit underneath the rocks facing the river... Quite interesting...

We continued walking along the river...

This looked as if we were in the middle of nowhere... =p

Towards the end of the Wildcat Creek Trail...

More pictures of the trees...

Some whitish pink flowers we saw on our way...

On the way back to the starting via the Peter's Mill Bridge Trail...

More of those blue wild flowers...

A try on the swing at the Garden before leaving...

We were rather disappointed at the Botanical Garden as there was nothing much to see, no flowers... =( Probably we were too early... Nevertheless it was still a good walk to exercise a little and to breathe some fresh air... =p
