Columbian Park

We went to Columbian Park on Sunday afternoon as we wanted to visit the zoo before it closed for the season.

Once inside the zoo, we were greeted by an interesting fountain.

First, we visited the Wallabies, which are small kangaroos and they are housed inside a special area.

There they are!

Then, we saw the Emus, the second largest birds in the world.

Chickens roaming the zoo.

There's also the Bald Eagle, which is the only eagle unique to North America.

Me with some interesting-looking sculpture!

The zoo had really nice pathways.

There's also a barn that housed several animals.

Pot-bellied Pig, one variety of the common domestic pig, and has characteristics that make it a popular pet.
Llama

Miniature Horse
Goat

We also got to see different monkeys. These are Spider Monkey that has long arms and legs, as well as a long tail.

Gibbon
More monkeys.

The zoo isn't big but had a variety of animals, and we had a nice time there. Some last pics as we made our way out of the zoo.

After leaving the zoo, we walked around the park a little. It's a really nice park!

There's a really nice pond with many ducks and geese.
Spotted this interesting sign by the pond.

This is also by the pond.

Photos of us by the pretty pond!

We were curious about this building across the pond and decided to check it out.

Well, there's a nice view from the building.

Then, it was time to go home. We had a nice walk at the Columbian Park and Zoo. =)
