Valentine's Day Celebration @ Olive Garden

Yesterday, we went to Olive Garden for dinner as part of our Valentine's Day celebration. When we reached the restaurant, the queue was long and we had to wait for more than an hour.We were famished after the long wait, so we decided to order calamari for appetizer.

We could chose to have either soup or salad. YH chose to have their house salad, tossed with Italian dressing. It was a really big serving! I chose to have Chicken & Gnocchi soup, which is a creamy soup made with roasted chicken, traditional Italian dumplings and spinach.

Olive Garden Breadsticks.

For entree, YH had Seafood Brodetto which has scallops, shrimp, tilapia, spinach, and mushrooms simmered in a light white wine and marinara-saffron broth. It was served with toasted ciabatta bread. Yummy!! =) Something different!

I had Pork Milanese which is pan-seared pork scaloppini crusted with Italian herb breadcrumbs that is served with asiago cheese-filled tortelloni pasta tossed in a garlic-butter sauce with fresh spinach.

We asked our server to help take a photo of us to commemorate the occasion! =)

We did not order any dessert as we have chocolate pecan pie waiting for us at home.
