We went out after snow storm to take some photos and videos. This snow storm was quite bad as it not only had snow but also had ice and sleet. Purdue University was even closed for 2 days! Those farm areas were worse hit then our area as they had more open space for drifting snow. It was also bad in Southern Indiana as they had ice storm and had a hard time clearing it. Well lots of cars here were also stuck because of the ice. We managed to free our cars but our trunk and wipers were frozen. Here are some of the photos we took...
The snow was able to take our weight and we could walk on top of it. Very compact layer of sleet and ice underneath.
White everywhere and you cannot tell the roads from the pavement.
Wind was strong and was blowing the snow till it was almost horizontal.
Sometimes there would be strong gusts of wind.
