9-Layer Steamed Kueh (九层糕)

I tried making 九层糕 yesterday. It was actually my 2nd attempt and I followed another recipe this time round as the previous one did not taste nice. The result of this recipe was much better. The texture turned out rather nice and chewy though the taste of pandan was not very strong... =( The colours of the layers were also not distinct, guess I have to make the white portion thicker the next time I make this... Will have to get some pandan paste and essence when I am back in SG... =p Will probably make them in more colours next time? Oh and I have 10 layers instead of 9... =p Despite everything we still enjoyed them... =)
