The Lafayette Living Nativity @ Faith Baptist Church

Had a potluck dinner gathering today. 4 families staying at PV gathering at MY and SS house. There was fried rice, fried noodles, bak kut teh, vegetables in oyster sauce. For dessert, there was sweet potato soup and jello. =) After dinner we went to watch the Lafayette Living Nativity...Its an annual event by the Faith Baptist Church...

Basically, it is people acting out the story of Jesus outdoors... And you can either choose to walk through the scenes or drive through... We chose to drive through but our friends in the other car chose to walk through... In addition, they will give you either a CD or cassette tape to listen to the narration as you move through the scenes. To our surprise, there were actually many people there on this cold and windy night. It was quite a wait till its our turn to view the scenes. But the event was well organised as they sorted the cars into queues and each queue of cars will move off at a time in an chronological manner...

Here's the people at the various scenes... Really impressed with them for acting in the cold... It was a really cold and windy night and I would not want to be outdoors for long... =p

After viewing the scenes, we went inside for a cup of hot chocolate and cookies and took photos with the Christmas tree display...
