Fruit Pastry Cake

The second thing we made with the peaches was a fruit pastry cake. It was to be our breakfast and snack for the next few days... =p Prepared it while the cobbler was baking in the oven... =) Besides peaches we added some blueberries too... =) You can also add strawberries, pineapple, apples, bananas, oranges, pears or any other fruits that are not too juicy... Very flexible indeed...

Poured the batter into the pan and decorate the top with fruits using your own creativity... Hubby was the one that decorated it! =p

The cake out from the oven and dusted with some icing sugar... Think I baked it for a little too long as it was a little too hard at the sides... =p Plus we made the mistake of dusting it with icing sugar before removing it from the pan... Too anxious to decorate it! =p

The cake when it was sliced... It taste quite nice and soft! Will definitely make it again when we have various fruits... It is a good summer cake to make when there are lots of different fruits available! =)
