Our lunch comprised of 鱿鱼羹 and 盐酥鸡. Yummy! =)

A photo before we started eating...

We also ordered a cup of bubble milk tea to go. =)

After lunch we dropped by the adjacent super mart to buy some drinks and then continued on our drive towards Madison, Wisconsin...
We reached Madison in the evening and our 1st stop was the Observatory Drive Overlook in University of Wisconsin-Madison. It had a really beautiful view of Lake Mendota! =)

Here are the photos taken there... If only Purdue had such a view too... =p

A panoramic view of Lake Mendota...

This is Observatory Drive...

Next, we went to the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union... The Union had a terrace that overlooked Lake Mendota and these photos were taken by the lake... Very lovely view and if only PMU had such a nice place to chill... =p Many people were seated along the lake as there were benches, chairs and tables for people to hang out...

The Memorial Union building...

The other side of the Memorial Union, facing the road...

Then, we tried Babcock Ice Cream, which is made by the Food Science Department at Babcock Dairy Hall. This is sold at The Daily Scoop in the Memorial Union...

We tried the flavour, Orange Custard Chocolate Chip, and it tasted great! =) The students are really lucky to have such nice ice-cream being sold on campus... =p

Then we went back out to the area facing the lake and took more photos... The view was really nice and you could even rent boats...

More photos of Lake Mendota as the sun begins to set...

There were really lots of people chilling out along the terrace and almost all tables had a pitcher of beer... Hence, we decided to get a pitcher to drink too, just to experience it... =p

We went in to get beer and after much consideration decided to get a pitcher of Budweiser which costs $9. The line for beer was never ending as there was always people coming in to get more beer...

We found a table and sat down to drink our beer and admire the view...

It started to get dark as the sun sets and we took some last photos of Lake Mendota...

We finished up our beer and then left the Memorial Union. We walked a little along a portion of State Street. It is the core of the city, extending from the Capitol Building west to the UW campus. Along the street are restaurants and shops. Very happening place and is close to campus!

A close up shot... Looks really nice at night with it being lighted...

After that, we went for dinner at Glass Nickel Pizza...

We had White Cheddar Cheese Curds as appetizer... We love cheese curds!

And we had the Fetalicious pizza which is their #1 pizza and it had Marinara sauce, house blend cheese with feta, tomato, mushroom, red onion and spinach. It tasted really great!! =)

After dinner, we went to check in to the Sheraton and rested for the day...

After dinner, we went to check in to the Sheraton and rested for the day...

Our hotel room... Sheraton gave guests the option to decline housekeeping service the day and in return they would give a $5 voucher which could be use in participating food and beverage outlets within the hotel... We declined housekeeping and really got a $5 voucher which we used at the Starbucks at the hotel lobby... If only other hotels had this scheme... =p
