Thai Essence @ West Lafayette

At night, we went out for dinner to celebrate me passing the driving test! =p We decided to try a new restaurant, Thai Essence.

Nice decorations inside the restaurant that gave it an upscale feeling...

The following were the food we had... First, a bowl of Tom Yum soup which was rated quite good by hubby but not spicy enough! As for me, I am glad that it is not too spicy so I could drink it... =p

We also had an appetizer - Moo Ping, which is grilled pork skewers marinated in the style of street vendors in Thailand, served with cucumber salad and sweet & sour sauce. This tasted really good!! =)

Mango-Cashew Nut Fried Rice which was not bad...

Pad Thai which was not bad too and definitely better than Exotic Thai's version! =)

To conclude, we think the food at Thai Essence was quite nice, at least those food we ordered were nice! It is definitely a place that we can return... It had Thai Ice Tea but sadly it did not seem to be free refill.. =p
