Crossed the pedestrian bridge over to Lafayette...

Along Third Street where our ticket booth is located...

Us at our booths. Basically what we had to do was to sell tickets that were used to purchase food and beverages at the stalls. We both handled the tickets while our partners handled the cash. =p Rather simple tasks plus it was not very busy during our shift as the event just started. Good thing we were under a shaded tent else I think I would faint from the heat as it was really sunny!! There was also a slight breeze which made the heat bearable... =p

At the end of our shift, we walked around. It was really hot and sunny once out of the shaded tent! This row were some sort of Farmers Market stalls...

We walked around looking at the various stalls and stages. This is the Marquis Stage...

We tried Bang Bang Shrimp from Bluefin Bistro. They are basically spicy shrimp and are 3 for $1. Tasted not bad...

Jazz Stage.

We also tried the sampler from McGraw's Steal Chop & Fish House...

We loved this, Tornado Fries with cheese, from The Muse...

Row of stalls along Second Street...

There were also a couple of stalls on the pedestrian bridge...

Fountain...

Along Tapawingo Drive...

We then tried Topperstix with Pizza Sauce from Toppers...

Tapawingo Stage at Tapawingo Park...

Some of the Family Taste activities available for kids...

Gospel Stage...

It was really too hot and still a long way till the fireworks at night so we decided to go for a drink. We settled for A&W as we saw an ad for Orange Freeze and wanted to try it... =p

Us with our drinks and relaxing in A&W...

After our rest, we went back to the Taste. There were lots of people there as it was dinner time and was also less hot...

At the Demo Area where people are preparing for the Tae Kwon Do demonstration...

Some interesting costumes we saw... =p

Me at Taste of Tippecanoe...

The flooded Wasbash River due to the many storms we had during the week...

This is cute! =p

We also tried more food like Grilled Bourbon Chicken with Rice from Bea One...

Beef Brisket Sandwich from West Point Steak House... Felt that the BBQ sauce was too strong and covered the taste of the beef brisket... =p

We brought our food to the chairs and tables at the Jazz stage and ate there... =)

Managed to capture a pic of the moon... Moon could be seen even though it was still bright... =p

Build a Better Burger demonstration at the Chef Stage...

We caught the performance by Moonshine Mason and The Rot Gut Gang at the Crossroads stage. It was country music and we thought it was quite nice. There were lots of people listening to them and we stayed on to listen too... =) It was less hot plus there was shade from the shadows of the buildings which made it more conducive to stay for performances. It was just too sunny earlier on! =p

YH took this pic while we were at the Crossroads Stage...

Several beer gardens were found throughout the event and you had to show your ID to enter the area...

Another performance we saw was by Scott Greeson and Trouble With Monday at Main Street Stage... We liked this too...

An elderly couple dancing in front of the stage. Don't think they know each other as it started with the man dancing solo, and then the lady joined him. =p

Rock music by Steeleto over at Marquis Stage... This was not our type of music as we felt it was a tad too loud... =p

The lead singer...

The cool head shaking guy... =p

Buffalo Wild Wings vehicle...

We entered this beer garden as we wanted to try the Wine Slushie by Main Street Cheese & Wine Cellar...

We tried the peach flavoured one and it was really nice!! =) But rather exp too as it was $4 for a small cup... =p

Caught the last part of the performance by Jennifer Wiley Project at the Jazz Stage...

We had 1 last ticket and decided to use it to get a Chocolate Amaretto Pie from Toscana Italian Grill/Tailgate Grill & Bar. Not many choices as there were not a lot of $1 sampler items that we were interested in... It was not bad but a tad too sweet...

We stayed on for the next performance by Bill Lancton Quartet... I did not really like this performance as I think it was a little boring but we stayed at the Jazz Stage as it was near the fireworks display area... Plus I was tired and welcomed the opportunity to sit... =p

Around 9:30pm we made our way to the bridge so that we could get a good spot to view the fireworks later. Lots of people were already gathered on the bridge...

It was a good thing we were there early too as we managed to catch the lovely sunset over the Wabash River... Loved the pinkish/purplish colours in the sky... =)

Really nice sunset! =)

Me at the spot which we thought is the best to view the fireworks... =)

Fireworks! We thought that the fireworks display that night was rather impressive! One of the nicer ones that we had seen in the USA... =)

We left after the fireworks as it was late... Passed the fountain which was lighted on our way out...

Still lots of people around...

Saw a little of the rock music performance by Cheese Weasels at Tapawingo Stage. It was quite nice, not the extremely noisy type! =)
