Puccini's Smiling Teeth @ West Lafayette

We had dinner with our friends at Puccini's on Fri and it was our 1st visit. It is basically a pizza and pasta restaurant.

A friend of ours had a couple of coupons for a free appetizer when we purchase either 2 pastas or a large pizza. So all of us paired up in order to utilize the coupons. These were some of the appetizers we had, sun-dried tomato bread (came with a dip made up of sun-dried tomatoes, fine cheeses and tomato sauce) and scamorza (melted, smoked mozzarella over tomatoes & herbs, served with toast). Besides that we also had garlic bread and bruschetta (fresh tomato, garlic and herbs on toasted bread). There's was lots of bread! =p The garlic bread was really good! =)

We wanted to try the pizza and thus, had to order a huge pizza in order to use the coupon. We ordered the campfire pizza which had smoked sausage, sweet onion marmalade, gorgonzola & fresh rosemary. The pizza was really huge, it had 16 pieces!! We only managed to eat slightly more than half the pizza... =p

We think that our pizza was rather nice! =) The sauce is a little on the sweet side, which is something different... =p
