CNY Eve Dinner

This is our 1st CNY Eve away from home and also our 1st reunion dinner together! =) We had another steamboat dinner. Hehe... This time round it was with our rice cooker at our home... =p Well, it was the easiest to prepare since there will be no need to cook many dishes, so we decided to have steamboat on CNY Eve too!

We had vegetables (special CNY vegetables that was rather expensive!), chicken, pork, prawns, tang hoon, mushrooms, sotong balls, crab sticks and sausages with chicken soup base... =)

Ingredients added into the rice cooker and there's a full pot ingredients! Yummy!!

It was a nice dinner and we were both very full! However, the disadvantage of using rice cooker is that it take longer to boil. Will consider getting the steamboat set in the future!

CNY Eve here really does not feel like CNY Eve. There is no festive mood at all. No special shows on TV, no festive food, nothing... It just feels like a normal day. Guess CNY is a period where we miss home...
