Singapore Food Festival

On Saturday was the annual Singapore Food Festival organized by PSSA. At 3am in the morning, we went over to our friend's place to help him in the making of chicken rice. Hubby helped to chopped 10+ chickens, cucumbers and to adjust the taste of the chili sauce. =p As for me, I helped out here and there and then had to helped cook the rice at the last minute. This kept us busy the whole night, and thus we did not sleep at all. In the morning, we then had to prepare our own dish for the Food Fest - muah chee...

These was taken around 9am in the morning at our friend's place. There were still a few chickens left to be chopped.

After finishing preparing the food, we still could not rest as we then went to University Lutheran Church to help in the selling...

This is the area before the start of the event...

Me getting ready our muah chee "stall". =p We were glad that most people loved our muah chee and were happy that we managed to sell everything. It was actually not difficult to make! =p The other food included Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Bah Kut Teh, Hong Shao Pai Gu, Chicken Rice, Vegetable Curry, Almond Jelly, Ice Milo and Yeo Drinks!

The place during the peak lunch period...

The thing ended around 4+ pm and then we had to help clean up... After that, we finally could go home to rest... We slept around 8pm till late the next day... Totally exhausted... =p
