After brunch we walked around the North Campus of University of Michigan... This is the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Tower at the centre of the North Campus. The tower is open to visitors but it was closed when we were there... =(

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building...

There were various public art and sculptures around Ann Arbor and these are the few we saw at the North Campus...
The black sculpture is titled "Triad Ritual" and the white one "Summaries of Arithmetic Through Dust, Including Writing Not Yet Printed"...

This red sculpture is titled "Begob" and the other is "Block M"...

This is a rather interesting sculpture and its name is "The Wave Field" which consists of a series of grass waves...

Then we drove over to the Central Campus and walked around... This is a sculpture on the Central Campus, named "The Cube", and it spins on its axis when pushed. And we took turns spinning the cube... =p

We also took turns taking photo with the stationary cube... =)

Next, we saw the Michigan Union which is something like PMU...

Me in front of the entrance to the Michigan Union...

Inside the Michigan Union which reminded us of PMU... =p

The Michigan Union from across the street... =p

Then we walked over to the Law School Quadrangle which we have read online to have beautiful gothic-style architecture... And the buildings indeed have nice architecture! Loved the sky on that day too!! =) The Law Quad comprised of Hutchins Hall (the main law school building), the reading room and the U-shaped Lawyer's Club. The following photos are of the buildings that make up the Law Quad viewed from the outside...

Another side of the U-shaped Lawyer's Club...

View of the buildings from within the Law Quad...

Within the Law Quad is this large grass patch...

This is the Reading Room with and underground law library...

Inside the Reading Room which was really nice!! It has stained glass that is covered with the crest of major universities in the US and around the world...

Us taking photo in the Law Quad...

William L Clements Library and Martha Cook Building...

Me in front of some building that is on the walkway that passes through the Diag, the heart of the Central Campus... And the right is the brass M that lies in the middle of the Diag...

The graduate library and surrounding courtyard in the centre of the Diag...

The Bell Tower...

Another view of the Bell Tower with some fountain...

Hill Auditorium...

The first Borders bookstore and a mural on a building nearby... These are located on a street surrounding the Central Campus...

Angell Hall...

More sculptures on Central Campus...

Alumni Memorial Hall, which is also the Museum of Art...

One of the University of Michigan Buses that are used by students traveling between the different campuses... This is something like the Campus Loop buses at Purude. We liked the colour of the bus!! =p

We then stopped for a drink of bubble tea at this restaurant...

Us with our cup of milk tea... It was very nice with chewy pearls!! =)

A painted fire hydrant... Cool!

We missed the Alley mural and went back to that street in search of it and finally found it... It is too bad that the original mural was painted over with graffiti... =( Nevertheless it was still an interesting sight...

This wall was covered with gum!! The tiny dots are gum of various colours stuck on it... Eeeks!!

This is the stary ceiling with some form of a poem...

Dinner was at Asian Legend... We told our friend about our supper there and he wanted to try the food...

滷豆干 and Pepper-salt crispy chicken wing (盐酥鸡)... Nice!!

Stir-fry Kang Kong with garlic and Three Cups Tofu (三杯豆腐)... Like both of them!! =)

滷肉飯 and 大滷麵. Both really nice too!! =)
