Movie + Dinner @ Fu Lam

We went to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at Lafayette 7 yesterday! =) Have been waiting for the movie for ages!

We almost could not get tickets to watch the movie as the person at the counter initially told us it was sold out... But later changed to say that he thinks that he could squeeze 2 more in! =) Probably we looked kinda disappointed... =p He then pointed out the line that had already formed to enter the theater so we proceeded to join the line. As the cinemas were free seating people do queue to go in so as to get good seats and also if you are in a group you would want to get seats that are together... These were taken as were queuing... =p

The movie is about 2 and a half hours long and it is OK only. Some parts were changed for the movie and were different from the book... Some stuff were not explained and if we had not read the book we would not have known about them... We were expecting some stuff but they were not in the movie... =( Not sure how these changes in the story will affect the last installment of the Harry Potter series as some of these things lead to stuff in the 7th book... Guess we will have to wait for movie to know... =p

After dinner we went Fu Lam for dinner... This is a place where I keep hearing about but have never had the chance to try it... Finally can try it last night! =p

This is what we had - Ginger Chicken and Salted Pepper Pork... Dishes that YH had tried before... Hehe... We did not order any new stuff as YH had told me before that the food here is OK but it also depends on what you order so I did not want to order something that is not nice... =p And this 2 dishes are rather nice though the pork is a little spicy! =)
