Feast of the Hunters' Moon 2011 + Lunch @ King Wok

We went to Feast of the Hunters' Moon again this year, and this time it was with friends. Here's our tickets.

We walked pass the apple dumpling stand and got one to share as it was too good to be missed! =p

 

Frying some dough the old-fashioned way in large pots of oil over open fire. 

 

Then, we went to get a good spot to view the opening ceremony.

We also visited the Indian Camp to see what life was like for them in the past.

Of course, we had to have the awesome pork chops! =)

We also went to the river to watch the "voyagers" canoeing down the river, which signifies their return from Canada.

And the canoe overturned becomes shelter for the night, very useful indeed.

Another thing that we have to get it the rootbeer! This time round, we brought the bottle from last time for refill.

We caught the performance by the juggling brothers again, and they were still as good and funny! Oh, they also had a new act!

We left not long after watching the performance. Then, we drove to Indy with our friends to have lunch at King Wok. There, we ordered our usual items, but sadly, they were not as nice that day as we felt that the soup was not as flavorful. =(
