Apple Picking + Joe's Crab Shack

Its fall and time for apple picking once again. This year we decided to go back to Anderson Orchard as we really love the apples and cider from there.

Driving into the huge orchard, and this time we knew where to go and which apples we wanted so just drove straight in.

Heading into the row of Golden Delicious apple trees to start our apple picking adventure.

Great looking Golden Delicious apples, we tasted one and it was nice and crunchy! =)
Our tee seems to match the colors of the apples and leaves. =p

Next, we went in search for Red Delicious apples.

Us with our bag of apples! =)

View in the orchard.

We also went to take a look at the pumpkin patch where there were many pumpkins!

We also went to see the raspberries, which are also available for u-pick. But we did not pick any, except one to try. =p

We went back to the main area and walked around after we finished apple picking.

Lots of pumpkins laid out for sale. I tried picking up one with one hand and it was rather heavy, I could not stay in the position for long.

The reasonably priced apples and they cost the same whether its picked or u-picked.

The store where we bought their apple cider that was incredibly good!

The cute mini pumpkins.
The concession stand where we bought the cider slush that we love to drink on the way! =)

After apple picking, we went to do some grocery shopping in Indy and then went to Joe's Crab Shack for an early dinner.
Our glasses of water plus stuff on the table, including napkins, bucket for shells.
We had calamari for appetizer and they were good! =)
We shared the Sunset Fire-Grilled Steampot for 2. It came with Dungeness crab, sweet Snow crab, boiled shrimp, smoked sausage, fresh corn, and new potatoes. The crabs were huge and not too bad! =)
Posing with the huge steampot.

Tools to help you eat the crabs and wet napkins to clean your hands after it.
Huge bibs were also provided so you will not dirty your clothes as it may get a little messy. =p
