On our way back to Singapore, we had a 10-hour transit at Incheon International Airport in Korea. Instead of just waiting for our next flight in the airport, we left the airport and took a train to Seoul for a half-day trip. We only had time to visit one attraction and we decided to go to Gyeongbokgung which was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. The palace was beautiful and magnificent. Although it was raining, we still enjoy visiting various part of the palace.
After our visit to Gyeongbokgung, we went to have our lunch at a nearby restaurant called Tosokchon. Tosokchon is known for samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup), so we ordered that for our lunch.
After lunch, we took a train back to Incheon International Airport where we took our flight back to Singapore.
