Me taking photo with the Wendy's sign... Hehe... =p
A Maid of the Mist boat which we will be taking later...

The Maid of the Mist entrance...

Taking photos in front of the Maid of the Mist boat that we took after putting on our blue raincoats... The raincoat is to keep you dry from the mist of the Niagara Falls as the ride takes you from the Canadian docks past the base of the American Falls, then into the basin of the magnificent Canadian Horseshoe Falls...

Then we went on board the Maid of the Mist... Photos of the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls from the boat...

Video clip taking on board the Maid of the Mist as we cruise past the American Falls...

Approaching the Horseshoe Falls...

Photos with the Horseshoe Falls before it becomes too wet for us to take out our cameras... We had put on our hoods to protect us from the mist and spray of the Horseshoe Falls...

We get nearer!!

When we were at the Horseshoe Falls, the boat stopped to let us feel the magnificence of the Horseshoe Falls and we were wet from the mist and spray!! =p We even saw a rainbow in the water!! No photos taken as our cameras were well protected behind our raincoats... =p
Photos taken as we move away from the Horseshoe Falls... We were wet...

If you go to the Niagara Falls, the Maid of the Mist is a definite must try!! The experience is awesome!!

Then we walked along the stretch of the Falls towards the entrance for Journey Behind the Falls near the Horseshoe Falls... The Journey Behind the Falls is a journey deep below and behind the Horseshoe Falls where you can stand in the mist where the mighty Horseshoe Falls tumbles from 13 stories above. You start by taking an elevator that descends 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels. You then walk along the tunnels to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water. You can then go to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the foot of the Falls.

It was very windy that day and it kept blowing the water and mist towards the Observation deck... We were unable to get a very good picture of the famous sign... =(

Me getting drenched by the mist... =p The wind was really strong!!

YH in a photo up close with the Horseshoe Falls...

More photos of the Niagara Falls after we came out from Journey Behind the Falls... We were hoping to see a rainbow but there was none... =( Maybe it was not sunny enough...

Taking turns to take photos with the Horseshoe Falls...

Then we walked back to Clifton Hill area and went to the Hershey Store there...

Next we went to Tim Horton's for lunch... Tim Horton's is a Canadian fast food restaurant and has more outlets than McDonald's in Canada...

The sandwiches tasted good!! The doughnut was nice too!! It was a satisfying lunch!! =) And it is healthier fast food... =)

After lunch we walked back to our hotel to get our car. We decided to drive along the scenic route (along Niagara River) and stop at the various view points to have a look... Our first stop was at the boarding point for the Whirlpool Aero Car, which is a cable car ride across 2 different points of the Canadian shore of the Niagara River over the spectacular Whirlpool. We did not take this ride but just stopped to admire the scenery and take photos...

Some Hershey merchandise and me taking photo with a big Hershey's Kisses...
A row of different fudge flavours... We bought the Maple Walnut fudge and it was awesome!! Fudge seems to be rather common here in North America, do not remember seeing it in SG before... But it is really nice but fattening... =p

Our next stop was at the Ontario Power Generation...

Hydroelectric generating stations along the Niagara River...

Then we stopped at the Floral Clock.. Very pretty as the face of clock is decorated with flowers and the floral design is changed twice a year!

Then we drove to another view point...

We saw the sign for Kurtz Orchards and decided to step in for a visit... Luckily we did as the shop sells many interesting food products and they taste nice too...

The products include lots of different jams, dried fruits, different cheese, various spreads, fruit and wine curds, wine jellies and various pepper jellies...

We ended up buying a jar of Cabernet Sauvignon curd (red wine curd)...
